• Chapters 1 to 12 contain acts or portions of acts enacted before the end of 1984 but excluded from the main portion of the revision because they were not in force on December 31, 1984.
• Chapters 13 to 53 contain public general acts passed in 1985.
• A schedule contains a list of acts and portions of acts repealed as of the coming into force of the 1st Supplement. In force December 12, 1988; SI/88-228

2nd Supplement (KP2 S7 1985 RSC Supp. 2)

Contains public general acts passed in 1986. A schedule contains a list of acts and portions of acts repealed as of the coming into force of the 2nd Supplement.

3rd Supplement  (KP2 S7 1985 RSC Supp. 3)

Contains public general acts passed in 1987. A schedule contains a list of acts and portions of acts repealed as of the coming into force of the 3rd Supplement.

4th Supplement (KP2 S7 1985 Supp. 4)

Contains public general acts passed in 1988, prior to December 12, 1988. A schedule contains a list of acts and portions of acts repealed as of the coming into force of the 4th Supplement.

5th Supplement (KP2 S7 1985 RSC Supp. 5)

Contains the Income Tax Act and the Income Tax Application Rules as of November 30, 1991.

Appendices (KP2 S7 1985 RSC Append)

• Appendix I contains a schedule of acts and portions of acts repealed as of the coming into force of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985.
• Appendix II contains constitutional acts and documents.
• Appendix III contains the Canadian Bill of Rights.

Provides explanatory information for acts in force on December 31, 1984 but not included in the 1985 Revision.

Table of the History and Disposal of Acts (KP2 S7 1985 RSC Supp.)

• This Table describes the history and disposal of all Acts in the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1970 and all those enacted between the 1970 Revision and December 1, 1988 (the cut-off date for the 4th Supplement of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985).
• The Table also covers the Income Tax Act, R.S.C. 1952, c.148 and all amendments enacted since the 1952 Revision and before December 1, 1991 (the cut-off date for the 5th Supplement to the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985).

Table of Concordance (KP2.5 1985 & KP2.5 R48 1988)

Two concordances to the Revision were published. The concordance published by the government (KP2.5 1985) links acts and their respective sections which were enacted prior to 1985 to corresponding acts in the 1985 Revision. The concordance published by Richard De Boo Ltd. (KP2.5 R48 1988) contains an additional table which lists acts alphabetically and provides R.S.C. 1985 citations, page references to the Table of Concordance, previous citations and cross references.
