The Workers' Compensation Review Board and the Appeal Division of the Workers' Compensation Board were replaced by the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT) in 2003. The change was made by the Workers Compensation Amendment Act (No. 2), 2002, S.B.C. 2002, c. 66 (Bill 63) which was brought into force on March 3, 2003 by B.C. Reg. 320/2002.
The parties are entitled to copies of decisions from these panels.
The decisions are not available to the public except for those that were published in the Worker's Compensation Reporter. Some volumes of the reporter are also available in print In the Kamloops, Port Alberni, Prince George and Vancouver courthouse libraries.
The Workers' Compensation Reporter ceased publication in 2005. It was replaced by a database on the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal's website.
