The Family Law in BC website is a great resource for legal information on family law issues such as divorce, separation, child custody, spousal/child support, and family violence/abuse.
Management of this website, previously done by Legal Aid BC, is now the responsibility of the Justice Education Society (JES). JES is a non-profit organization with many years of experience providing public legal education materials in Canada and abroad. You may already be familiar with them, as JES also maintains the Supreme Court Online Help Guide and the Small Claims BC website.
Aside from the organizational branding and the URL, the website organization and content remain unchanged, meaning it remains a great go-to resource for all things family law. Currently, all existing links to the old URL, family.legalaid.bc.ca, are being automatically redirected to the corresponding page with the new URL, familylawinbc.ca.
