The Federation of Law Societies of Canada has two continuing legal education programs:
- The National Criminal Law Program started in 1974 and is an annual event. It is Canada's largest criminal law conference and is approved in BC to qualify for 21.75 CPD hours, including 2.5 hours of professional responsibility and ethics, client care & relations, and/or practice management.
- The National Family Law Program was first held in 1978. In 1988, it began a regular cycle of programs scheduled in alternate years.
