BC regulations deposit and the official seal
Last revised February 15, 2024

When regulations are deposited with the Registrar of Regulations, they are stamped as deposited with a date and a regulation number, and are then published in the BC Gazette Part II.

They are not stamped with an official seal or "the great seal".

The Evidence Act, RSBC 1996, c. 124, s. 32, states that:

All copies of official and other notices, advertisements and documents printed in the Canada Gazette or in the British Columbia Gazette are evidence of the originals and of the contents of them.
