The new Clicklaw is now official, and we want everyone to know about it!
Clicklaw is a Courthouse Libraries BC digital service which links the public and community helpers like library workers to accessible and relevant BC legal resources, all selected by our experienced law librarians. Clicklaw resources are:
Plain language – Clicklaw resources are created specifically with the public in mind, so they are easy to understand without a legal background.
BC-specific – All resources apply to BC legal matters, meaning you don’t have to worry whether the resource you’ve found applies here or in another jurisdiction.
Reliable – Clicklaw resources are published by legal information publishers who have expertise in a variety of legal topic areas.
Curated – Our law librarians use their experience helping the public with legal questions to ensure the best resources are included in the new Clicklaw.
You may recall our Clicklaw “soft” launch in June – thank you to everyone who gave us early feedback! Since then, we’ve completed the final details of this significant site refresh; you’ll notice more resources and Common Questions available on the website, all selected and organized by our law librarians.
Haven’t had the chance to see Clicklaw’s modern new look? Check it out!
